Lugon's contributions to the Bloggers' Parliament

> What, Why and How of this new blog <

The Bloggers' Parliament is an initiative created by Natalie D'Arbeloff and fleshed out by herself and a growing number of bloggers.

Until now I've been using another blog (also at rvr's Blogalia), which is mostly in Spanish and where I also write about other things. I'd like my BP area to be "primarily public domain", so that maybe some ideas will make into Andrius Kulikauskas' Common Channels. "Categories" don't seem to be useful enough because I think I'd like to use subcategories for different "problem areas". There's also the fact that I'm not that good at fiddling around with html code, which I must do if I want to link to other BPers.

So, to make things a bit simpler for myself and for the (dream, dream!) readers, I'm trying out this BP-only blog. I'll bring the BP-related postings from my other blog ... eventually. I intend to write in English so that I may be a part of the action within Natalie's initiative, but I can also add a "translate me" button so that you may read this in, well, pseudo-Spanish. I'll also try to keep my posts short and clear.

Lucas, this is a wonderful new way to present your ideas for Bloggers Parliament. Thanks so much for your imaginative and energetic participation. I 'm sure it will be a stimulus and encourgement to all of us.

Natalie, thanks for the encouragement. As you see, this blog is currently at a "pre-boil" stage.

Now I would like to do a couple of things that need doing:
- bring here a blogroll of the other BPers so that I can follow them. Maybe they will link to this blog, too! A kind of "BP-ring" sort of thing.
- bring my own postings from the "old" blog.
- think about the categories of problems you suggest, in order to focus on a few of them, and maybe create the corresponding categories within this blog.
- after that is done, think of what to do next.

Good ideas, Lucas. Another thing I'm going to do as soon as I have time is to make a page where all solutions posted by BP members will be listed (by title and brief description), with their links, so that everyone can see at a glance what has been posted and where.

You mean "aggregating" postings ... It sounds like that RSS*, RDF* and similar "technologies" being actively developed for blogs.

* Don't ask me what those initials mean, because I don't really know how they work or if you could use that to pull our news from your page (which is a hand-made blog, isn't it?).

But there's quite some expertise here in Blogalia, so I'll ask.

Meaning BPers can reinforce each other in many ways, too! I mean, I can now build on that idea, link to it, etc.
